South Korean President will meet President of FIFA

The South Korean government are serious about supporting the country's candidacy to host the 2022 World Cup. President Lee Myung-bak plans to meet with FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

Lee will go to Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, 27 and 31 January. In the midst of a state visit, Lee's agenda to meet with Blatter and FIFA number of senior officials at agency headquarters of world football's highest in Zurich.

"In a meeting with Blatter, President Lee will explain how South Korea's preparation was very good to hold the World Cup finals in 2022, and the things what can we contribute to the development of football," said presidential spokesman as quoted from the Korea Times .

Support from government is something that is important for a country wishing to nominate themselves to host the World Cup.

Step Ginseng government of this country is just as well be done by Indonesia which is also applied to host the year 2002.

As reported previously, until earlier this week there has been no government support for the candidacy of Indonesia.
