Nigeria Through to Semifinals Penalty shootout

Lubango - Nigeria finally strolled into the African Nations Cup semi-finals. Results are achieved by the Super Eagles after beating Zambia 5-4 on penalties.

In Tundavala Stadium, Lubango, Tuesday (26/1/2010) morning, the match between Nigeria and Zambia to walk quite a lot. The results of the goalless draw until the match stayed 90 minutes walk.

Extension of time was done but still no goal is created. But at that time Nigeria had to play with ten players after Onyekachi Apam got a second yellow card in the 106th minute.

Nigeria finally winning 5-4 in the shootout. Results are brought Nigeria to the semi-finals and meet Ghana on Thursday (28/1/2010) in Luanda to take place in the final round which will be held Sunday (31.1.2010).

While in the other semifinal, defending champions Egypt will face Algeria in Benguela on the same day. Egypt through to the last four after beating Cameroon's big 3-1.
